History:

The Nadine Cultural Centre & Haveli is housed in a historic haveli that once belonged to a wealthy merchant family of Fatehpur. These havelis were built in the 19th and early 20th centuries, showcasing the prosperity of the Shekhawati region due to its strategic location on trade routes. The haveli fell into disrepair over time, but has been carefully restored by Nadine Le Prince, a French artist and conservationist. The restoration project aimed to preserve the haveli's original architectural features and revive the traditional art forms of the region. The centre now serves as a living museum, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Shekhawati and promoting sustainable tourism.
