History:

The history of Agnigarh Hill is deeply rooted in Hindu mythology. Legend says that King Bana built a fortress on this hill to keep his daughter Usha in isolation. He did this to prevent her from seeing Aniruddha, Lord Krishna's grandson, with whom she had fallen in love. The name 'Agnigarh' translates to 'fortress of fire', referring to the fire that was believed to surround the fortress to keep Aniruddha away. The hill has since become a symbol of love and devotion, with its story passed down through generations. Today, the site features sculptures and depictions of this mythological tale, attracting both devotees and tourists.
