History:
According to legend, Agnigarh was built by King Bana to isolate his daughter Usha from Lord Krishna's grandson, Aniruddha, whom she had secretly married. To protect Usha, King Bana encircled the hill with fire, making it impenetrable. However, Aniruddha managed to reach Usha with the help of Chitralekha, Usha's friend. This led to a battle between Lord Krishna and King Bana, ultimately resulting in Bana's defeat and the union of Usha and Aniruddha. The hill, therefore, stands as a testament to this epic love story and the triumph of love over adversity.
